Project Alert: Requesting Fleets Interested In ANG Vehicle & Fueling Grant Application
EPACT and Ingevity are looking for project partners for a coordinated grant application to demonstrate Absorbed Natural Gas fueling and vehicles in PA. The benefit of ANG’s low-pressure solution is to enable the use of a low cost, small, reliable and convenient fueling solution. The result is to bring private natural gas fueling to the fleet yard, office or home, while reducing fleet operating costs, enhancing your productivity, and maximizing your corporate sustainability. Grant funding aims to cover 50% of upfit and fueling equipment costs. Email Tony for additional participation details. |

Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Now Open!
The AFIG Program helps to create new markets for alternative fuels in Pennsylvania which enhances energy security. AFIG projects promote and build markets for advanced, renewable and alternative energy transportation technologies. The intent is to provide a stimulus for opportunities that better manage Pennsylvania's fuel resources that also improves the environment, supports economic development and enhances the quality of life. Submission deadline is December 11, 2020.

New Study Links Air Pollutant to Increased Covid Death Rate
A national study by Emory University associated a 4.6-parts-per-billion rise in nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentrations with an average 11% increase in the fatality rate for people with the respiratory disease, Donghai Liang, an assistant professor at the Atlanta school, told participants yesterday in a virtual conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology. |
